Alpaca Seta is one of those yarns that is so beautiful and so versatile that no matter how hard I try, I can think of no garment or blanket or throw or hat or . . . well, you get the idea . . . which, if made from Alpaca Seta, won't emerge from your needles as fascinatingly gorgeous, beckoning to the touch and eye with it's texture and loft. It is one amazing yarn invention.

First, the mill combines the alpaca and silk fibers into a warm, lightweight and ultrasoft roving. Then, two slightly thick and thin plys are spun which are in the final step are entwined around a core of nylon (for strength). The result is somewhere between a bouclé and a delicately slubby yarn - which gives Alpaca Seta its tactile grace and visual beauty while keeping the airy softness its alpaca/silk fibers alive. Like I said, there's nothing you can make with Alpaca Seta that won't be more beautiful than if you made it with something else. You'll see for yourself when you try it.
