Adagio is one of the yarns that put the "primera" in Skacel's Primera Collection. It is amazing in its beauty, amazing in its fibers.

I previously had no experience with llama yarn - after Adagio, I can't get enough of it. It turns out that even baby llamas produce a fiber that is long, strong and soft. Although coupling llama fleece with silk is, from my perspective, a non-intuitive approach, Adagio proves that it is one of the best things ever to have happened to a yarn. The llama is soft, warm and enfolding; the silk adds a smoothing touch and lots of light and color. Together, they simply dance along your needles, happily creating knit fabric that graces the world with more beauty and delight.

I should add that Helen Hamann's Perfect for Peru collection is a stunning way to acquaint yourself with Adagio - I've seen the model garments and can tell you that I could hardly tear myself away.
