Schulana's brand new Sumerino is of such high quality that unless you have some premium cashmere (e.g., Cashmere Trend) sitting right next to you, you'd guess that's what Sumerino is. The difference in feel between the two yarns is so minute that you really do need to have them together to know which is which.

Beyond that, Sumerino stands on its own as a wonderful knitting yarn. It's DK weight offers the most versitility for any sweater, it's softness is simply enfolding, and Schulana's superwash technique leaves the wool soft, springy, and warm even as it renders it machine washable. And, as you can see, its color palette is rich and lovely. Sumerino is the sort of knitting yarn that makes me want to gather up a basketful, sit down in my favorite chair, and knit to my heart's content. You'll see what I mean when you try it for yourself - this is a yarn you'll want to reach for again and again.
